Parts grafting; UPS update (off list)

Ed the service guy at Heath used to do that too...he had a bin of pots & switches & would
swap parts (early cloning?) when he couldn't get a replacement...

I think I would do that now...then I thought it was a bit further than I wanted to go.

I won't say more than one sentence about UPS...I went to the shipper I recommend and got
soome insurance and carrier updates for this year...if anyone wants to discuss off list,
email me.
