Hi gang. To the fellow who posted about the guy using an incandescent
light bulb as a dummy load. Gee I thought that's all there wuz,
until...................I was living in Seattle at the time testing out a
60 watt rig on SSB on 10 meters and using a 60 watt bulb as a load. (Tube
gear only, won't work well on solid state.) Anyway I had a receiver
hooked up to listen to audio. The usual whistle whistle test test then
my call and another whistle or two. Then the receiver which was hooked
up to the station antenna says," Where are you W7PRV?" I thought oh no,
a neighbor! Turns out the guy was in Chicago reading me about S-2! One of
the earlier hot 10 meter cycles. Fred W7PRV
