Repairing Switches

Hi folks

Have also used the 2-56 screw repair method over the years. Just one little
change, I used brass 2-56 screws (purchased at a local hardware store of
hobby shop) and after finishing assembly I solder them so they do not loosen
up and cause a meltdown when used at high power. Yes, this makes future
replacement difficult, but, it is important that the mechanical wiping action
and contact pressure of the switch be preserved at all times for the switch
to carry its rated current.
