EK> Jim, I'm afraid that the "serial number" that Heath used was really a misnomer in the sense that it was not used in the manner that most folks would expect. They did have some level of traceability but not so you could have a real handle on such
things as mods or improvements. We need the sage words of one like Ed Mosher or Murray to step in here for a closer slant on the meaning of "serial number"
