Maybe a simpler one... just tie a slip knot with a screw in the loop.
The bigger the screw the more the length gets reduced (i.e. a 10-32 takes
up more slack than a 6-32 which takes up more than a 4-40 or a 2-56.

Or if you have enough slack take another turn around the smallest
diameter shaft.
