AK-5 color help

Hi Sandy,

I have an AK-5 here with my Heath station and it is the same color as the cabinet on the
Mohawk and Apache, including the inside.  The grille is the cream color of the front
panels of the rigs.  You might try to strip the old paint and see if the base paint
remains intact.  Sometimes, if the two paint layers are fairly different in composition,
the top layer will come off easily and the original layer will stay intact.  I have had
luck with this method from time to time, but not often.
