Hello All,

First of all I would like to thank all of those of you who have been
helping me with my problem of no output in my HW-101. These lists are the
greatest helpers.

Although I have not solved the problem, I now believe it is in the power
supply instead of the radio. Many of you suggested that, but I kept looking
in the wrong places.

This morning I was trying to wire up my old dc supply to try, and eliminate
the ac supply as the problem. That didn't work, as it's been too many years
since it was used and it died while trying it, but that's another thing.
While I was looking I found the manual for the ac supply.

I was looking and it says the the low b+ should be 350 volts. I only
measure about 280 volts. I had assumed that that was correct as the HW101
manual says low b+ is 300 volts so figured it was within tolerance.

Now to get inside the powr supply and fix it.

Many of you said I probably bumped the switch, which I had checked, and I
had checked voltages and seemed normal until I found manual. I know RTFM.

Again thanks much to all of you and I will keep you informed of my
progress. At least I have learned a lot from you all and in all my
checking, so it wasnt totally worthless time spent, but I do feel stupid.

73, Ed
