572B cost

Well thank you for all you input with 572B tubes.

I still have a few sets of 811A tubes left.

I looked up price and found 572B tubes are very costly.

I read that they last the rest of my fife.
Well the cost will take the rest of my life to pay for it.

I did look at spec sheet.they will fit.

I already had to use a 6.3V 20 amp fil. transformer to buck 
ac line coltage down to 115 for 
Collins 30L1 and my outher heath kits.
my ac line runs a bit high here.

well I may be able to affored 2 572B.

That is on problem with 30L1 is under rated supply.

Well I looked a manual and I could use a externat supply 
to make more current but I doen't want to
put stress on tank circuit.
so I will leave collins factory power supply.
