Danny,
According to my HP-20 manual and the memory, the
MR-1
gets power from the supply via the MT-1, but you
can
wire up for operation directly from the supply.
According
to the HP-20 manual MR-1 pinout is:
3...filament
5...filament
1...+300
6...common B-
I recall my experience with the MR-1, ok for AM
but one
should not have great visions working much CW. The
MT-1
Cheyenne is another story, a fun xmtr.
