Hi All Heath friends,
I am working on restoring a HW-104 for a friend and after several semiconductor change the rig is now starting to work. I still have a problem to fix before another Heathkit will be back in the air and I neeed some help.

The analog dial mechanics is not correct; the electrical escursion of the VFO is 500+ Khz (5.5 to 5.0 MHz) wich is the right value but the dial is only indicating 0 to 250 on the scale (end stop are at zero and 350 points), it seems something like a missing part, may be a 2 to 1 reduction drive.
No manual is available and I can see # 2 6 to 1 reduction drive on the same line between the VFO and the front panel tuning knob. I cannot figure out the way it should work to make the dial revolution from 0 to 500.

There is anyone on the list with a HW-104 assembly manual who can scan the page regarding the dial assembly and send it e-mail ?

Thanks in advance and 73.

Gianluigi, I1POR
