Boys and girls...

My Io3220 scope has been trouble shot down to a single part. It's a strange
guy that I can't for the life of me I can't track down.

heathkit part number is 417-895  or a PIC625

this guy is really strange. Instead of the usual EBC, the pin outs are
DRIVE, INPUT, OUTPUT.

it looks like a NPN darlington, yet I tack soldered in a NPN darlington and
nothing happened.

neither NTE or ECG crosses this part..

HELP!!
