I have a Heath antenna tuner (mod.SA2060A) that I am trying to rebuild. I
found that the teflon wire that wraps around the balun had burned through.
Since the balun is wrapped in glass tape, and I don't want to cut into
anything and possibly make more damage, I want to know #1: is the balun
solid or is it wound
     #2: Must the wire wrapped around the balun be teflon or will hi temp
wire work just as well.
I bought some hi temp wire but the insulation is a bit thicker than the
teflon and I can't get the number of turns around the balun that the book
calls for. I hope someone can give me some information. Thank you
