You can also get McMaster catalog on CDROM.  I
have used them for years
at the workplace.  Since searching for an item is
much faster using the
CD than on the net, I tend to prepare an order
that way and then when
ready to place the order, their program
automatically connects me to their
site to finish the process.  I'm not sure who
writes the search engines for
various on-line outfits but most really stink.
McM does it right.
Don't own stock, don't know anyone there, just a
