Actually, the W-5M was a 25-watt amp, using KT-66 output tubes and a
Peerless ultralinear output transformer.  Though Heathkit made later, more
powerful tube amps, the W-5M seems to have a special mystique, and many
folks (including me) think it might be the best amp they ever built.
