Shadow,
Care to build the SMK-1 Surface Mount Kit? Checkout these websites.
I would like to know if any of these kits meet with your interest.
Could you tell us/me what you want in a kit?

Try out the Blue Sky CCD 0 - 32Mhz frequency counter based on a PIC chip.
$35
I liked it, took a couple hours to build. Used it with a HW-8 for a
digital dial.
Also used it to check a frequency on a SWAN Cygnet 260.
http://www.hamradio-online.com Had a series "Wanna Tinker" by W6BKY on
building a 40 Meter transceiver.
Say, anybody interested in getting a small group of buildings working
separately but sharing
their ideas on building this design using manhattan techniques? Shadow?
