EPROM Burning Help

Please help, oh great Heathkit ListServe!


For months now I've been trying to figure out how to copy 2 EPROMS from a Heathkit's Hero-1 - Roaming and Utility ROMS.  I have a Heathkit EPROM Programmer Model # 4801 and all the documentation (thanks Multi-Volt).  But have had no luck.   I also have made like 5 personality modules, no luck.

The original's are on 68764 EPROMs.   Since they are next to impossible to find, I am going to put them on 2764A's

I am not having any luck! 

Would some one please give me a clue?    Robert Doerr, if you're reading this, spread your knowledge.  :)
