1st  -  Price was never the driving factor
2nd -  The Market did not support Heath's Marketing Scheme !!
3rd -   Heath had many innovative concepts that they put in their Kits.
                    1- the buddy system in their RC flight kits
                    2- Pro series audio [ie-the led Output indicator - for one]
                    3- Many of the TV concepts
4th -  I wondered what would have happened if Zenith would have kept their nose out of a business they
        knew nothing about - I still maintain they bought Heath just for their computer expertise.

Finally - why do You feel the price is so High for "unbuilts" on EBAY.  It isn't just one person bidding!!
