HW 101 Problem

Hi gang:  just getting started on a vary nice HW 10l.  When I got it C 12 was
bad and R 1 was burned to a crisp.  I replace them both and applied power
after checking all the tubes and PS voltages. All tubes lite up but there is
no audio output.  In the ALC position, the meter pegs to the left in receive
mode in both SSB and CW. In tune, Ihear the relay click but no output. I
think it is probably in one of the stages common to both TX and RX.  Anyone
have any suggestions  before I dig into the unit?
