Hi Ed...

Well, for one thing, they had a uniquely Canadian catalogue which took mail
orders to their head office in Cooksville, Ontario (Toronto)...

The HW-12 & HW-12A sold in Canada had the Canadian SSB sub-band on it, i.e.
the bottom end started at 3.7 MHz, or thereabouts---well below the U.S.
version.
