DX-40 HELP

I am currently restoring a DX40 and need HELP with a couple of things.  

First,  the chassis needs a new paint job.  When I picked up the rig someone had already stripped the paint off the cabinet. Any help available with painting the chassis?   Also in careful examination of the   electronics I noticed that the Mode switch is in pretty bad shape and should be replaced.  Does anyone know where I might be able to find any switches or other parts?
