I don't gamble too often, but at the recent flea market, I took
one...for a song, I bought a box that apparently is an unassembled
Heathkit...it looks like a sub assembly box,--part of an unassembled
Heathkit no one finished-- it's full of parts and three circuit
boards...
The largest board is about three by five inches and marked "xtal
osc/sw"; there are two other, smaller boards marked "buffer " and
"osc". The rest of the parts are coils, caps, resistors, transistors,
etc, and what appears to be the "venier" part of a dial drive...
My best guess is it's from an HW-8,7, or one of the shortwave
receivers...like an SW-7800...anybody else have a guess?
The board #'s are 85-2037-2 (xtal/osc/sw), 85-1205-7 (osc) and 85-1206-3
(buffer)...
