two really strange questions

Interestingly enough, the inverter microwaves can be 'modulated' from 10% to
100% of full power - this is AM not pulse modulation. I do suspect the data
transmission rate may be somewhat too slow for voice, however <G>!

Fujitsu make air conditioners which can also be modulated in output by means
of inverter technology. They are readily available in Australia, but don't
seem to have made it here yet. Can't quite see how to hook one of those up
to a rhombic.
