Hi Bob...

You have a genuine CANADIAN version of the HW-12 there...

I wouldn't change it either, if I were you: with the Canuck range, you get
full coverage of the DX window, and THEN some. What is there at the very top
of the band that's so very interesting, anyway?!

To change the frequency range will require MORE than just a new dial: Heath
actually included a multi-page addendum to the "regular" manual, describing
how to add extra components & align it, etc., accordingly...

Leave well enough alone, Bob---at the least, it's a neat conversation piece
for all your "regular" Heath buddies! Hi
