Just my .02, I think that's a kick.  I tore down and completely rebuilt
my GR-64 last year with my kids.  It's actually MUCH harder than
you'd think and quite a technical challenge.  Ya start at the back of
the book and work your way to the front!

I thought it was a blast. I then bought new resistors and capacitors
and put it all back together again.

But then - I just do radios for FUN.
