Hi Bob,
The original had a 1 meg 1% resistor that could be switched out for ohms and AC. You can make one with a miniature slide switch
to switch out the resistor. You could make two probes, one with resistor and one without. If you come up with a slick design put
it on the reflector. Luck and 73.
