HW 101 cw oper ?

Just got hw 101. No manual yet. Super receive with 400 hz cw filter.
Wanted to know if without mods, is there any way to lock the xmit
relay switch and send cw. I like to operate at 25 to 35 wpm and the
vox isn't quick enough to pick up at least the first dit at that speed.
