Heath shipping?

OK, so we're all sick to death of the shipping thread, but we all have a
stake in it because we get a lot of our Heathkit stuff via either UPS or
USPS.  I have a nice thing to say about oops (my nickname for UPS) because I
recently received a balun that was sent by the shipper to the wrong address,
wrong city and wrong zip. The phone number was right, though, and the driver
called to ask where I lived. I told them I lived 50 miles away, so they gave
me directions to the main plant in Denver so that I could pick it up on a
Saturday. They were very friendly and helpful.

This talk about shipping led me to wonder whatever became of REA, which is
how I used to get my Heathkits back in Arizona when I was a kid and Heathkit
was flourishing. I think it stood for Rural Express Agency. Does anyone know
what became of them?
