cross ref for transistor

Hello-
I am trying to cross ref a transistor from a B board
of an SB104.  The heath part number is 417-201 and the
circuit designation is Q204.  It is listed in the
parts inventory as an "X29A829"  I am not familiar
with this number.  In Telen's SB104 trouble shooting
guide, he mentions a radio shack transistor as a sub
for Q207 which is the same transistor.

Any advice
