I noticed that too, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was
a simple writing error overlooked in editing. Surely SOMEBODY noticed that
the 301 is missing mic gain, tuning, and loading controls and has no mic
input! I observe that the Ak-Sar-Ben club put its e-mail address in QST.
Perhaps we should all write to them to point out this mistake!

I'll give 'em credit, though - that was a PR masterpiece, and they should be
commended for thinking of it.
