Al,

Sure thing on the math. Can't help you with the
panel. I counted 9 pictures on the original ad on
E-Bay, at
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1206078915&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=979618195&indexURL=0&rd=1

This includes the large opening picture, and the
picture of the box. $6,400 / 9 pictures =
$711.1111111 etc. The point you make is right on.
The opening picture is larger, and it's "the teaser."
It's that opening picture of that mint condition
receiver that pulls you into the ad. That picture is
clearly worth more. The picture of the box is "the
clincher." It's probably second in value. So not all
pictures are worth the same. Also, although some
pictures seem redundant, they all work together.

The customer needs time to think about the radio. The
longer the advertisement, the more time there is to
think about the radio. There is a value to that as
well. So, every different picture has a contribution
to make -- and not all equally.

I used an average figure because I thought it would be
more amusing.

PS you could ask the E-Bay buyer if he'd part it
out... %) HI HI
