Fw: SB-301 is a Receiver...

Here's an exchange I just had with the author of that QST article regarding
the SB-301 and the movie Frequency. It would appear that he certainly MEANT
to say Receiver.

You're welcome. Well deserved. Maybe you didn't notice, but your article in
QST refers to the 301 as a transceiver also. We guessed (here on the
Heathkit list) that some editor didn't notice either.

Yes, a number of us in the club had a good laugh about that when we first
saw the movie!  I thank you for your kind remarks and I am glad that you
enjoyed the article.  I can tell you that although it was a lot of work, it
was also a great deal of fun!

.not a transceiver.  But I bet you've been told that about 1000 times by
