SB-401 question

Hi Mark--My manual (which is later) shows the 21 mhz trap to be 3.5
microhenry. The trap is removed when the 401 is used with a 303, but left in
circuit when used with a 301. My manual is a newer version since it
references using the 401 with a 303. For the 8.6mhz trap, my manual says to
remove the crystal in question from the 303--but that is only in the section
under alignment as a transceiver. When aligned as a stand alone with the
crystal pack, the crystal is to be removed from the transmitter. You remove
whichever het osc crystal is the one doing the work (depends on which
position the locked / unlocked switch is in) Hope that helps......Dennis
