  Hi All!

As some of you may or may not be aware, one thing
I enjoy as part of this hobby is taking a second look at
various pieces of Heath gear and seeing if any SIMPLE
changes can made to correct certain problems.
I have spent a few months with an HW-101 and have
addressed some common problems such as distorted
audio, etc. I have come up with a series of simple
changes that turn it into a fine sounding radio, these
changes can be done with the SB series of transceivers
as well.
A good friend and myself have put it all together in a
1.7 MB .PDF file and will send it to anyone that wishes
to have it, just send me an E mail and I'll send the file to you.
Also would appreciate any comments on your results
if you do the changes, and any comments on the article
itself.
