FT-101EE

Don't know if it's still true today, but it used to be possible to flip a
switch (sometimes a software switch) inside older Yaesu's (like my FT-767)
and get them to transmit ANYWHERE! I thought about trying it on CB just for
fun, but was told that you can't use non-type-accepted radios on CB, so I
didn't waste my time. I always thought that was such a silly rule. Ham rigs
are probably way better built than CB rigs, and when you don't even need a
license to operate CB, the only thing that might happen is the opportunity
to use them at higher power levels. But CBer's never use illegal power
levels, do they? :)

Just relisted it on Ebay stating that it been modified not to transmit
ouside the FCC authorised Amateur Bands. Now if they take it off again, I
have the funds and resources to File a law suit to Remove all amateur or
other Equipment that can be modified to operate on the CB bands. or simply
turn it on, without any any Mods. from Ebay. That ought to reduce their
income considerablely.
