AT-1 Question

Greetings and Salutations Heathkit Experts!

I have a really nice AT-1 that I've had for years.  It has all gray knobs,
not black.  It's all original, and similar to the one shown in Penson's book.

My questions are:  Was this a later model, and does anyone have a feel for
its scarcity compared to its black-knobbed brother?
