I am glad that the code requirement is slowly going out the window. A concept whose time
has come. With the advent of the internet, HAM radio has enough pressure for survival
without adding archaic requirements like the morse code. As it is, HAM radio may not
survive another ten years. Same goes for SWL. Both may end up like vacuum tubes and film -
speciality items in a niche market. Harvey.
