HP23 power supply pc boards

Hola...boys and girls

the third and final version of the pc board for the hp23 supply has been
ordered.

here's what been improved

added additional filter cap to output of screen supply

added 100k bleeder to screen supply

increase from 10k to 20k bleeder resistors in plate supply.

added soft start to the screen regulator supply

moved everything around on the board, but still has the same footprint

added the ability to reuse the filter choke instead of the series regulator
if you wanted to. (would be cheaper this way, and is now possible if you
don't want the series regulator)

and...

fixed that pesky problem with the power darlington

it is now a high voltage power mosfet. the part runs about $2 instead of the
$12 for the darlington.

The soft start ramps the +300 volts up slowly to ensure your old rig won't
be hurt.

price will still be $15 + shipping

and...

will need one guinea pig to "proof" build the board. that means a hp23 and
some time.
