HW-7

I just acquired an HW-7.  It had been modified by someone.  The RECEIVER
PRESELECTOR capacitor was replaced with a 3 position rotary switch, and a
2 x 4 circuit board (looks like a commercial unit) containing a lot of
components has been added.  Is anyone familiar with this mod?
