Heathkit rotary switches

I remember an electronics dealer about 20+ years ago, who had access to a
supply of switch parts in a kit form. He could make up any switch you
wanted, even the weird Heath ones with odd shaped rotating metal parts and
long and short fixed contacts. Anyone have an idea of who sold/sells these?
Maybe that's the solution to Heath switch problems.
