Sprague HYPASS What is it?

I'm trying to figure out what modifications have been made to a SB-220 I
bought in Dayton this year.  Among the modifications , I find that there
are 6 Sprague Hypass 80P3 devices which have been inserted into the final
circuit.  Does anybody know what this component is?
