I remember reading somewhere that there were a couple of
changes made to the RX board over the production run, and
the last batch were actually pretty good - the second change
made a huge difference. If somebody has the tech notes on
this unit maybe they could tell us what parts were changed.
Maybe they could post the factory tuning procedure... as old
as these units are some parts have to have drifted and a little
peaking by the proper procedure couldn't hurt..
