Hi Mike...

There was an article VERY similar to that, designed expressly for Heath gear, in an issue of QST---possibly late 60's/early 70's vintage. 

I believe it may well have been a lengthy HINTS & KINKS piece...

In any event, the author was a "VK" type, who became a SK shortly before the article was published (as quoted by the QST editor).

  hello, 

      i have asked this before, but did not get a solid lead. wanted to see if anything had changed.

      i am looking for articles from early 1970's ('70, '71 '72 and maybe '73) from cq magazine (small print). the articles are about accessories for sb heath gear. exactly what i am looking for is the "home brew" external vfo built for heath sb gear. the vfo was built in a sb-600 speaker cabinet and used the vfo from a sb radio. (don't flame me for wanting to hack one up, please.) if u have the magazines from those years, could u look for me and see if u find it. 

      i had the mags with the articles, and nearly got divorced when i found out they had "been disposed of." 

      any help is appreciated.
