receiver and I humbly submit that for its time was a truly great rx.

EK> I suspect that you would have your hands full with this question.  The
annals of radio history is repleat with many worthy examples.  It only
becomes a narrow issue when looking at kits.  If you are just looking at the
world of rx, then there are a number of good manuals on this subject.  Be
aware, all opinions are in the "ears of the beholder"
