6m converter

Unless the converter has been modified, it converts 50
- 52 MHz to the 28 - 30 MHz 10 meter ranges.
You run the output of the converter to the #2
converter input on the receiver and, of course, the 6
meter antenna into the input.
I have both the 6 and 2 meter converters on my SB-301.
They are about "average" in terms of sensitivity
(definitely will receive anything that is "out of the
noise" in suburban situations).
I don't know why Heath used the #1 position for 2
meters and the #2 for 6 meters. If it were me, I'd
have gone the other way!

What band does it convert 6m to? It seems to be wired
for VHF2 and the filaments light so there is hope for it
