There's a whole bunch of FT-243 crystals on eBay right now going for about $8.00 each ranging from 80 mtrs all the way up to 2 mtrs.

Greetings Leprecauns:
Recently acquired a couple of HW-18-1 rigs. These are 2 channel
crystal controlled monobanders, in this case on the CAP freq of the day
which was about 4.5 Mhz. I am thinking of putting one of them on 75
meters. They are SSB or short transmit low power AM. I will install an
appropriate crystal and peak up the finals LC circuit for 75. What
would you suggest for a couple of frequencies - one SSB and one AM - in
the High end of 75? Anyone have any experience with this move to 75 for
these rigs?
Another factor: they use a dpdt ptt switch on the mic. One side of
the dpdt switches ground from rx to a tx position for relay-free
transfer. Anyone know what kind of mic and switch I could use here? I
have a couple of D-104, but they are currently configured for spst ptt.
Any other possibilities for a mic?
Anyone got a crystal or two around 7.3 mhz or up to about 7.4? Looks
like this is what will be needed to get it on 75.
