I'm cleaning out my attic, and would like to sell three old Heathkit items.
I bought all three of these at various hamfests and auctions about 20 years ago and never got around to fixing them. None are functional, and I make no guarantees as to whether they can be repaired or any other guarantees about their condition.
The DX-20 Transmitter has a clean face plate, save a small rust spot which should clean up fairly easily. The rest of the cabinet shows some wear, but little if any rust. The tag that came with it says that it needs tubes, transformer, and choke. I have a photocopy of the Condensed Manual which has the parts list, schematic and operation instructions, but no assembly instructions.
The IT-11 Capacitor Checker comes with the original manual, and appears to have been purchased in January of 1965. The unit appears clean, but needs repairs, and I have no idea what they are.
The HD-19 Hybrid Phone Patch comes with a photocopy of the manual. It appears to be from 1960, and I remember that I was told when I bought it that it is missing some components, but could be fixed. Physically, it is clean other than some glue/gum on the top from a row of tape, plus it has a second row of tape on the top. The color has faded some.
I'd like to sell these as a package, because it isn't worth the aggravation of packaging them up and shipping them separately for a low price, and my guess is that people won't pay a lot for any one unit. I don't know what these are worth. So, anyone out there, make me an offer, and help me clean out my attic.
