Discolored Front PAnel

Anybody know how to reverse the discoloration problem that occurs on some
front panels? I have an IG-1275 Lin/Log Gen and an IM-2420 Counter which
have front panels that have yellowed. The font panels are plastic and I
suspect that Ultraviolet light from sun light or something causes them to
yellow but I really don't know what causes this. Any ideas how to reverse
it?
