DX-100 (HELP)

I have been trying to restore a DX-100 and the more I repair the more
problems I get.

I need help.......When I first got it, it appear to work OK but for some
severe arcing around the rectifiers, that was due to lose connectors on the
rectifier tube sockets, after replacing them, and inspecting all connections,
I found several unsoldered connections and plenty of cold solder joints which
were repaired, all tubes have been checked, and swapped with known good ones.

Now the problem is that I cannot get grid or drive current on the meter, the
VFO is not oscillating and with the switch on crystal and a 40 meter crystal
on the socket still no oscillation. If I remove the 6AL5 tube (bias
rectifier) I do then get driver current, that I think tells me that I am
cutting off the driver, but I still think that the VFO should oscillate.

I do not have a good schematic (Only have a poor small copy) to try to follow
the signals, so PLEASE HELP, this thing is driving me bananas.

Many thanks for any help and regards,
