Receive Sensitivity SB 101

1st try tapping on Relay RL2 if it cures the problem, pull the lid off the
relay, then take a piece of typing paper, (do not use a file, or emery
board) and clean the contacts of RL2 contacts 10 and 2 by rubbing it across
the contacts.  This worked on my HW-101 which is the same radio, without all
the bells and whistles.

hello,

        i have a sb-101 with a receive problem.

        after i key the radio while transmitting, the relay clicks for the
radio
to go back into receive mode. i can here the receive "go away" and get less
sensitive. i can open the lid and tap on the final cage. after a few taps,
the receiver comes back strong, however the problem will repeat after i key
the transmitter again.

        is the relay located next to the finals the transmit/receive relay?
if
this relay is going bad, will it behave like what i have described above?

        any help is appreciated.
