NOS and NIB in For Sale Ads

Hello, Bob and Group,

NOS stands for: NEW OLD STOCK.  You will also sometimes see NIB, which
stands for NEW IN BOX.  These acronyms are used to describe parts that
are supposedly brand new, although dated, but never placed in service.
